      Better Mind Counseling

      • Each person carries inherent dignity and the capacity to grow.

        Life’s challenges, whether rooted in trauma, loss, or transition, do not diminish it. Therapy strengthens awareness, agency, and the ability to respond to life with greater clarity and steadiness.

        My work is integrative. It combines evidence-based therapies with a reflective process that helps you understand what is happening in your mind and body in real time. I focus on nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and the development of reflective capacity.

        In session, we pay attention to how emotions register in the body, how patterns take shape in relationships, and how meaning emerges from lived experience. Rather than working only at the level of

        thoughts, we also address physiological responses and relational dynamics.

        I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Focused Therapy, and mindfulness based approaches. Over time, therapy supports steadier regulation and the ability to navigate stress with intention and perspective.
